In the days of "wired-mice" I recall a problem with the pointer would go missing. & Pref a Reminder (the next time you Boot-up), so you are aware it may be different. if the new settings don't work as expected. but without noting the change to the owner?Īny software that interferes with yr computer should have a "Fallback" option. is it possible OP ran a program that wanted the mouse to be super efficient and dropped-in the new setting. a reference field is at the bottom of the page, and a reference icon opens in a syspopup window, the browser scales the form size and scrolls down. That it was somewhere in the Device-manager/mouse-driver section is ODD as the first Q/ should be: "What has changed recently?" so no cleaning, replacing batteries or plugging it in elsewhere will doĪlthough most folk will try these "EASY Options" for themselves with a few minutes of the Fault occurring. BUT if the mouse doesn't do XXXX in one program but does in another it can 't be the mouse itself. As fault-finding is quite difficult and folk are only trying to help.
